Each month, we are considering one of the Articles from the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Our Article of the Month for March is Article 14
Every child has the right to think and believe what they choose and also to practise their religion, with their parent's guidance, as long as they are not stopping other people from enjoying their rights.
Article 14 at Valence
At Valence, we are inviting the children who will be celebrating Ramadan to bring in any photos or written accounts of their celebrations with family and friends. These will then be displayed around the school.
We are also inviting the children, on Monday 25th March, to bring in any Easter displays they have made at home to share with us. These will be on display for others to admire. They can be scenes of the Easter story or egg and bunny displays - the choice is yours.
